From the cruise ship terminal at Port Zante we drive to the Southern part of the island. The drive takes you to the Caribbean sea where you enjoy two of the best beaches. We make at least two photo stops either on our way to or from the beach. One of the most visited sites on the island is Sir Timothy Hill. Like the rock of Gibraltar the Brimstone Hill Fortress was in the hands of two European powers, who have fought each other for control of this Hill and the island. Both the British and the French built forts to defend themselves from the Spanish and from each other.
